Hundreds Treated to North Hempstead’s Halloween Celebrations
North Hempstead, NY – Town Supervisor John Riordan and the North Hempstead Town Board recently hosted several Halloween celebrations for children and seniors alike across the Town. The Department of Community Services and the Department of Services for the Aging organized Halloween Dances for seniors at Clinton G. Martin Park on October 25th and the “Yes We Can” Community Center in Westbury on October 29th. On Halloween Night, the 2nd Annual Kids Halloween Bash was also held at the Community Center in Westbury. Attendees at all events were treated to hot food, candy, games, a costume contest, and hair-raising Halloween music.
