Fresh From The Garden comes to New Cassel

The Fresh From The Garden Program sponsored by the EAC Network is welcomed to New Cassel by Councilwoman Viviana Russell & Supervisor Judi Bosworth. The Fresh From The Garden program provide income eligible residents of New Cassel, who are 60 years of age or older, with monthly nutritional chats wit a registered dietitian, healthy cooking demonstrations, screening for high nutritional risk, screening for eligibility for SNAP, meals on wheels, and monthly distribution of fresh produce.

The program activities will take place at Magnolia Gardens, 899 Broadway, New Cassel. Monthly Nutritional Chats with a registered dietitian will take place on Wednesday from 10:30am-11:30am, Cooking Demonstrations will take place on Thursdays.
