The Long Island Railroad Expansion Project from Floral Park to Hicksville held the Spring 2019 STEM Competition Awards Ceremony. Students through 6th and 12th grades were challenged to apply the STEM concepts, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, to address one real life problem in respect to the LIRR expansion construction. Additionally, all participants had to submit a poster or video along with their ideas. Congratulations to all of the award winners for their unique and resourceful ideas.
