This year the McCoy Center Honored two very worthy recipients. Assemblyman Charles Lavine, NYS 13th Assembly District was awarded the Public Service Award and Charles Vigliotti, President/CEO of L.I. Compost was awarded the Community Business Award. This grand event was held at Verdi's of Westbury on Thursday, April 7, 2011. A live band with a female vocalist serenaded during the event and opened the dance floor in between the program. Raffles of varying value up to $250 were awarded to 9 of the lucky attendees! The night ended with mingling and card exchange and a little rug cutting!
