The Town of North Hempstead kicked off this year’s Funday Monday at North Hempstead Beach Park. The day was filled with dancing, sunshine, games and a great breezy. Councilwoman Russell was joined by Town Board Members Wayne Wink, Charles Berman and Councilwoman Anna Kaplan. Funday Monday has been an annual event for the Town of North Hempstead for at least 6 years, community members from all 6 districts and other communities come together to enjoy the festivities of Funday Monday for eight beautiful weeks of the summer. Funday Monday is every Monday starting at 10:00 am ending at 2:00 pm. The Town of North Hempstead is pleased to welcome anyone who is willing to come out and have a good time with the seniors of our wonderful communities.
