This year's National Night Out Celebration at Martin "Bunky" Reid Park was definitely a success! It was a fantastic night for District 1 and the Town of North Hempstead to celebrate this meaningful event with all of the attendees! There was amazing turnout, and thank you to everyone who joined us. Special thanks to the numerous elected officials who attended.
National Night Out is a nationwide event that focuses on fostering relationships between residents and the local law enforcement, and this night highlighted just that. District 1 would especially like to thank our sponsors, Applebee’s, Target, Deer Park Recycling and more for their continuous support and overwhelming generosity. Also of course, thank you to all of the entertainment and vendors for participating. Councilwoman Viviana Russell hopes everyone had just an enjoyable time as she did, and it’s never too early to say look out for next years NNO!
